Thursday Park Projects

Thursday Park Projects will be a new offering for the Homeschool Collective this year! Having a park option will allow for a less restrictive environment for kids needing more movement, and will give us an opportunity to offer projects that are better served with an outdoor location such as sports, nature projects, etc. 

Park locations are still to be determined, but we plan to rotate either monthly or quarterly so that we can use parks that are better fits for certain projects. 

We will be opening Pre-Registration to new families starting on May 20 at our Spring Preview Day. Formal registration will open on August 1. 

Thursday Schedule for Fall:

11:00-12:00: Project #1

12:00-1:00: Lunch & Announcements

1:00-2:00: Project #2

Each project slot will offer at least 2 options so that our youth members can follow their interests. These are all led by volunteers, so parents will be expected to become approved volunteers to support our program. Not all volunteers need to lead projects, but we need additional volunteers for supporting leaders and admin and other activities.
